Tribe (church for the irreligious –, in partnership with the Christian Community Churches of Victoria and Tasmania ( and The Meeting House (, is seeking to appoint a community- leader (pastor) to oversee a replanting phase for this young community over the next four years (2013-2016).  This replant will include the potential of a new name, new venue, new people to join with us and the establishment of new local and global community service connections.  The position is to be full-time (part-time negotiable on request), with a targeted 40 hours a week (including some evenings), with one full day off each week and a majority of the work done in public spaces (ie. no ‘office’ hours).  This is no ordinary church pastor role.  We are looking for someone to help connect the people of Tribe with our local and global neighbours, so that, through the process of serving, we, as a community, learn to embody the way of Jesus more authentically.
